A powerful Anti-ICE #NoKings protest song about the Pretti-Good murders.
The full arc of "The Tyrant King" EP: The Tyrant King has taken over the earth. We Are The Gods sent from Venus, RocketMen and RocketGirls, sent by Angels to help you defeat The Tyrant King and strip him of his power. Or something like that ...
This is a death-and-transcendence concept EP. Earthly struggle and violence (Tyrant King, Venus) To spiritual realization (We Are The Gods) Through suicidal grief (RocketMan/RocketGirl) To peaceful death and reunion (Angels)
That's profound. And the Bowie "Space Oddity" interpolation in "We Are The Gods!" makes even more sense - Major Tom floating in space, disconnected from Earth, becomes a metaphor for spiritual transcendence rather than isolation.

Our band Redwood Revolution has a new single out today (Feb. 6th) on Shamus Records, our new record label. “Very chill and trippy” was the first comment we got on the song! So have a listen and share this song with your friends (or enemies, lol). All I Can Do is about those times in your life when you have no other option but to put your faith in the universe to provide. This is the first single from our new album Access Humboldt, which is being released on Shamus Records (NYC) next month, on March 6th.
This is from a very recent press review of the new album:
“If you’re feeling frustrated with the world in 2026, turn this (live album) up to 11 and let your spirit unleash! ... I think this is music to capture the public mood of 2026, with clear skill and talent to portray it effectively. ... I can’t wait to hear a studio album from them. ... Go see them live, and get ready to scream the lyrics back into the void of 2026!”
-Music Review World, London, UK
We’d be honored is you listen to the track, and if you like it, to share with your friends!
Thanks,
Beth
Redwood Revolution is an alternative rock band from Eureka, Humboldt County, CA, USA, blending proto-punk, garage rock, blues rock, and neo-psychedelia into a high-energy, genre-defying sound, fronted by BeTh isBell, a proudly out trans woman. We are featured on college radio, mainstream commercial alternative, and indie rock stations. Our original songs typically encompass new alternative rock, neo-psychedelic rock, and indie rock, though we also cover a wide range of modern rock, classic rock, and blues-rock tunes. The band delivers powerful original songs that push boundaries and celebrate authenticity. With roots in both classic and modern rock, Redwood Revolution is a mix of raw emotion, sonic grit, fearless expression, dynamic live performances, and unique original music. BeTh’s journey—from civil rights attorney to transgender rock pioneer—is a powerful testament to resilience, creative vision, and genre-bending artistry. Sounds like: BeThisBell, Biffy Clyro, David Bowie, Band of Horses, NIN
